To continue fighting poverty in our communities, VID has seen that a large group affected by this challenge are widows who after the death of their husbands find difficulties in affording the costs of daily life. This is because many widows with children tend to be discriminated against from their husband's property and later are directly forgotten. Thus, the empowerment of capital to do small business to overcome difficult life situations has been able to benefit some families to get a small income.
